To perform electrical maintenance, installations, and inspections within facilities, ensuring safety, compliance, and operational efficiency in accordance with local regulations and international standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for all electrical systems and equipment within the facility.
- Diagnose electrical faults and carry out timely repairs to minimize downtime.
- Execute electrical installations, upgrades, and modifications as required.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems and issue Certificates of Compliance (COCs) for completed work.
- Ensure all work is carried out according to safety standards and electrical regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all electrical work performed.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff and other departments to support overall facility operations.
- Recommend improvements for energy efficiency and electrical system safety.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Certified and qualified electrician.
- Must hold a valid Wireman’s License.
- Authorized to issue Certificates of Compliance (COCs) for electrical work and inspections.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in facility or industrial maintenance.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Willingness to work on-call or during emergencies as needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with infrastructure-related electrical work.
- Knowledge of energy-saving systems and practices.
- Hands-on experience with testing and diagnostic electrical tools.
