Job description

To perform electrical maintenance, installations, and inspections within facilities, ensuring safety, compliance, and operational efficiency in accordance with local regulations and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for all electrical systems and equipment within the facility.
• Diagnose electrical faults and carry out timely repairs to minimize downtime.
• Execute electrical installations, upgrades, and modifications as required.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems and issue Certificates of Compliance (COCs) for completed work.
• Ensure all work is carried out according to safety standards and electrical regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of all electrical work performed.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff and other departments to support overall facility operations.
• Recommend improvements for energy efficiency and electrical system safety.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Certified and qualified electrician.
• Must hold a valid Wireman’s License.
• Authorized to issue Certificates of Compliance (COCs) for electrical work and inspections.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in facility or industrial maintenance.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Willingness to work on-call or during emergencies as needed.
