About the Role

This Executive role is part of a growing sales team focused on expanding our customer base. The main responsibility is to develop their designated market to meet Trella's targets and vision.

What You'll Do

  1. Identify prospective customers, generate leads, convert, and close sales.
  2. Manage and grow client accounts, including upselling and cross-selling.
  3. Visit adjacent markets within the territory to uncover opportunities.
  4. Drive business growth and expansion in a defined territory.
  5. Manage sales team with KPIs like lead generation and opportunity conversion through BDRs.
  6. Achieve personal and team targets collaboratively.
  7. Engage with new and existing customers about onboarding and opportunities.
  8. Meet sales targets set by management.
  9. Highlight product features to solve customer problems.
  10. Answer questions about Trella's offerings.
  11. Negotiate prices and terms, and prepare sales agreements.
  12. Collaborate across sectors and maintain customer relationships.
  13. Use customer service skills to address client needs.
  14. Work with sales management to strategize and implement best practices.
  15. Update CRM daily and prepare weekly reports for management.

What You'll Need

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
  2. 4-6 years of experience in sales and business development, with at least 3 years in logistics or freight forwarding.
  3. Experience in selling containerized land transportation is preferred.
  4. Knowledge of import/export, port operations, shipping, and customs clearance is a plus.
  5. Customer-centric, process-driven, and able to meet tight deadlines.
  6. Strong presentation skills, with a demo requirement.
  7. Sales mindset with ability to develop partnerships.
  8. Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  9. Adaptability to a fast-paced, growth environment.
  10. Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets.
  11. Experience with Salesforce, Pipedrive, or similar sales tools.
