Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

Primary Purpose of the Job

Responsible for the technical execution and delivery of lifecycle OT & IT Cybersecurity solutions and services for external customers.

Job Responsibilities

1. Oversee the technical execution and delivery of cybersecurity solutions to clients, including managing implementation, conducting site visits, providing training, and consulting on cybersecurity matters.
2. Ensure cybersecurity infrastructure supports Schneider Electric applications and gather requirements for cybersecurity projects.
3. Identify and discuss new cybersecurity opportunities with customers and Account Managers, helping define needs and assessing vulnerabilities.
4. Lead and manage cybersecurity projects for OT systems and networks, including planning, execution, and delivery.
5. Develop and implement cybersecurity controls, safeguards, policies, standards, and guidelines for OT systems and networks.
6. Assess cybersecurity posture, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend remediation measures.
7. Conduct security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments on OT systems and networks.
8. Provide guidance on OT cybersecurity best practices and technologies.
9. Assist with design, configuration, and maintenance of cybersecurity controls.
10. Collaborate with teams to integrate cybersecurity into OT projects and operations.
11. Stay updated on OT cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices.
12. Develop and deliver OT cybersecurity training to customers and team members.
13. Respond to cybersecurity incidents and guide remediation efforts.
14. Lead cybersecurity factory and site acceptance testing (FAT/SAT).
15. Create and present technical documentation (FDS, DDS, FAT, MOS, etc.).

Qualifications & Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in OT Industrial Control Systems (e.g., DCS, SCADA, PLCs, HMI, Data Historians).
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, NCSC, ISO, COBIT) and ICS protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus, PROFINET, PROFIBUS).
• Excellent consultancy, communication, and analytical skills.
• Effective stakeholder management, time management, and organizational skills.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in networks, including management of firewalls (Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper), network troubleshooting, intrusion detection, systems administration, endpoint security solutions, backup and patch management, and scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
