Job description

Our client, a leading hospitality, catering, and service provider in the Kingdom, is seeking a Procurement Manager (KSA National) based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will support and assist the procurement team in alignment with the overall procurement strategy. This role involves collaborating with the procurement team and suppliers, overseeing procurement activities from purchase order issuance to delivery and settlement, and ensuring an efficient and effective procurement process. Additionally, the Procurement Manager will play a key role in supplier management and driving operational excellence in daily procurement operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee the entire procurement process from requisition to payment across all categories and regions.
  2. Manage purchase order issuance, delivery confirmation, tracking deliveries, monitoring invoice submissions, goods receipt issuance, payment tracking, and reconciliation.
  3. Support procurement teams in developing and implementing procurement strategies and policies.
  4. Lead and manage the procurement operations team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to achieve operational objectives.
  5. Assign tasks to the procurement operations team and ensure efficient task execution.
  6. Drive operational excellence by identifying process improvement opportunities, implementing best practices, and utilizing technology solutions.
  7. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company policies.
  8. Prepare and present reports on procurement operations, including KPIs, cost savings, operational efficiency, and supplier performance metrics.
  9. Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of procurement transactions and payments.
  10. Ensure adherence to company standards, policies, procedures, and processes within procurement operations.
  11. Assist in budget preparation and provide inputs to improve efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications & Experience:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or Operations Management.
  2. Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) is a plus.
  3. 6-8 years of experience in a similar role.
