Job description

Job Objective:

Direct supervision of all activities related to organizing procurement processes in line with operational plans, monitoring all operations and services related to evaluating and selecting contracts with approved suppliers, obtaining offers, and executing deal requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operational Planning:Participate in preparing operational plans and executive programs for managing procurement activities, ensuring identification and prioritization of purchasing needs.
  • Daily Operations Supervision:Supervise daily procurement operations, including evaluating and selecting approved suppliers, soliciting bids, executing purchase orders, and monitoring the receipt of purchases to ensure specifications and quantities are met in a timely manner with the best quality and lowest cost.
  • Supplier Coordination:Ensure effective communication and coordination with internal and external business partners, build a comprehensive supplier database, and evaluate their prices, performance, and service quality, providing reports and recommendations to senior management.
  • Reporting and Analysis:Manage reporting and technical analysis of procurement activities, monitor costs and prices, and submit reports to senior management with proposals and recommendations based on analyses.
  • Contract Negotiation:Manage negotiations and discussions, review contracts with suppliers for materials and services, ensuring compliance with approved policies and the availability of necessary resources.
  • Bid Processes:Supervise the processes for receiving bids from service providers, evaluate them in coordination with other units, ensuring compliance with approved procedures.
  • Price Database:Build a database of prices for regularly consumed materials, identify key suppliers, and maintain comprehensive files on procurement operations.
  • Tender Management:Prepare and review terms and criteria for tenders, participate in tender opening committees, analyze bids, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Documentation:Prepare specialized documents and reports related to tenders, providing appropriate recommendations and solutions, and store them in the relevant database according to approved policies.
  • Additional Tasks:Perform any other tasks assigned by the direct manager within the scope of expertise.

Skills

Educational Level:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in procurement or a related field.

Languages Required:

  • Arabic:Excellent level of speaking and writing.
  • English:Excellent level of speaking and writing.
