A leading luxury hotel in Saudi Arabia is seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee the engineering and maintenance team. The role involves ensuring operational efficiency, compliance with safety standards, and managing budgets while fostering team development. Ideal candidates will have a strong engineering background and leadership experience in the hospitality sector.
Manage and supervise the daily activities of the engineering and maintenance team, ensuring all tasks are completed promptly and professionally.
Conduct regular inspections of all areas of the property to ensure systems are operating efficiently and safely.
Oversee preventive maintenance programs for guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, pools, and all critical systems (HVAC, MEP, etc.).
Ensure compliance with local health, safety, fire life safety, and building codes.
Respond swiftly to guest requests, maintenance issues, and emergency situations, minimizing downtime and service interruptions.
Manage department budgets, monitor energy consumption, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
Train, motivate, and develop the engineering team to uphold Four Seasons standards.
Support pre-opening setup including equipment installation, system testing, and operational readiness.
What You Bring
A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering , mechanical engineering.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering operations, with 2 years in a leadership role, ideally in luxury hotels or resorts.
Strong knowledge of building systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC) and preventive maintenance.
Proficiency in fire life safety systems and emergency response protocols.
Solid understanding of sustainability initiatives and energy-saving programs.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills.
