Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a talented Contract Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will manage all contract administration functions, supervise and provide legal guidance to Contract Administrators and support staff within the Construction Department. Your responsibilities include protecting Soudah and company interests in contractual matters, ensuring compliance with policies, and maintaining legal and contractual adherence.

What You'll Be Doing:

  1. Supervising and managing Contract Administrators, providing technical legal guidance daily.
  2. Preparing and assisting in contractual correspondence across departments.
  3. Leading meetings with internal and external parties to resolve disputes and discuss legal issues.
  4. Reviewing work of Contract Administrators for quality, compliance, and law adherence.
  5. Planning contract activities, including post-award schedules.
  6. Recommending policies and procedures updates.
  7. Participating in personnel selection, training, and evaluation.
  8. Advising management on contractual matters and leading contract negotiations and claims management at the project level.
  9. Assisting in presentations to senior management.
  10. Performing contract administration duties and post-award negotiations.
  11. Coordinating the Change Evaluation Committee.
  12. Serving as Acting Manager of the Contracting Section as needed.
  13. Performing additional duties assigned by the Director of Construction and Section Manager.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Science, or J.D. in Law, with five (5) years' experience in contract award, negotiation, and administration.
  2. Ten (10) years of experience in contract management, preferably in construction.
  3. Knowledge of standard contract forms (FIDIC/JCT).
  4. Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and analytical software tools.
