Job description

The overall scope of the Marketing Manager is to assist the Director of Sales & Marketing in positioning and promoting XYZ hotel and its outlets as market leaders through effective marketing activities, ensuring compliance with the Kempinski brand.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Under the supervision of the Director of Sales & Marketing, create the hotel media and marketing plan.
  2. Implement the media and marketing plan and coordinate with agencies.
  3. Determine overall marketing campaign ROI, monitor response rates, and take corrective measures as needed.
  4. Develop and maintain the hotel marketing budget, ensuring budget control.
  5. Assist in creating and implementing all marketing activities, including collateral creation, promotions, advertising, market analysis, photoshoots, and direct marketing both online and offline.
  6. Maintain guest database for mailings and liaise with F&B department to promote outlets.
  7. Create, coordinate, and maintain promotional collateral and giveaways.
  8. Manage picture storage and distribution systems (Picture Park & VFMLeonardo).
  9. Provide content and images for websites, ensuring compliance with Corporate Identity.
  10. Maintain content and photography on third-party websites.
  11. Act as brand custodian for the hotel and Kempinski brand, ensuring all creatives are reviewed and approved timely.
  12. Coordinate with Corporate Marketing and agencies, and keep colleagues updated on guidelines.
  13. Communicate with internal departments and external agencies to support marketing initiatives.
  14. Participate in promotional events and activities, and promote hotel offerings proactively.
  15. Contribute to sharing best practices via my.kempinski, including successful promotions and launches.
  16. Conduct market analysis, benchmarking, and stay updated on marketing trends and tools.
  17. Monitor marketing results and suggest corrective actions.
  18. Participate in sales and marketing training programs.
  19. Stay informed about hotel activities, promotions, and rates.
  20. Provide administrative support for the Marketing office as needed.
Skills

Experience: 3-4 years in hotel marketing or media agency.

Languages: Excellent oral and written skills in the local language and English; additional languages beneficial.

Competencies: Strong understanding of marketing principles, copywriting, campaign management, project management skills.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Photoshop, InDesign, etc., is a plus.
