Do you want to be part of a newly formed organization that is designing and launching new business models across AMET? If so, Amazon Ultra Fast Grocery (UFG) operations is looking for an experienced Operations Lead with a strong record of achieving results.

We are hiring an Operations Lead to join a team that redefines fast delivery, helps us build and run this new service for our customers, and manages 3P Store Operations. Your responsibilities will include ensuring Amazon policies—such as attendance tracking—are implemented fairly and consistently, motivating, coaching, reporting, and providing feedback on associates’ performance—including productivity, quality, and safety—to meet or exceed Amazon expectations.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Manage daily end-to-end UTR operations for one large site or multiple smaller sites, supervising store operations.
  2. Meet customer-facing metrics while maintaining operational and quality targets, and uphold safety and morale of your team.
  3. Drive performance management, including training and development plans for team members.
  4. Collaborate with merchant stakeholders to improve operational processes and achieve sustained performance improvements.
  5. Conduct daily 4M / 5S and Safety GEMBA audits of the stores.
  6. Serve as a stand-in for the Area Manager.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree with experience in customer-facing environments, warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Ability to travel within KSA.
  • Self-motivated with strong motivation skills for teams.
  • Action-oriented with strong execution skills.
  • Resourceful in achieving goals with limited resources.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in ambiguous situations.
  • Good people management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • 1-3 years of experience managing processes and teams.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen methodologies, and SQL is advantageous.
