A leading company in the solar energy sector is seeking a Project Director with extensive experience in managing large-scale renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EPC processes and a deep understanding of local regulations in Saudi Arabia. This full-time position offers the opportunity to lead significant projects within a dynamic team environment.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Director. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing solar or renewable energy projects and at least 3 years of experience working in the gulf countries.
Key Requirements:
Minimum of 15 years of experience in the energy or construction sector, with at least 2 years of experience managing projects in the Gulf region (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain).
Significant experience in EPC projects, particularly in the solar or renewable energy sector.
Leadership & Expertise:
Proven ability to lead large teams and manage cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
Technical Knowledge:
Solid understanding of solar power systems, EPC processes, civil works, electrical & mechanical works, and construction management.
Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge:
Deep understanding of local regulations in the Saudi Arabian market and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, including safety standards, environmental laws, and industry-specific codes.
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil) or a related field. A Master's degree or Project Management certification is a plus.
