Purpose of Job
The job holder is responsible for managing the Classification and Publication function, including developing policies and procedures for classification, publication, and archiving of cases and decisions. The role involves classification of cases, publishing final decisions, and digital archiving to ensure ease of access, retrieval, and sharing with concerned stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
Strategy and Planning
- Contribute to the development of the Appeals Committees Legal Studies business plan, ensuring alignment with GSTC strategy.
- Develop the operational plan for Classification and Publication in line with the business plan and strategic goals.
- Implement plans and provide input to support the achievement of Classification and Publication objectives.
Budget Management
- Discuss budgeting requirements with top management and contribute to the budgeting process.
- Ensure effective utilization of the budget and report on progress and challenges.
- Propose initiatives that positively impact finances and mitigate risks.
Classification and Publication
- Develop policies, procedures, and standards for classification, publication, and archiving, ensuring compliance and accessibility.
- Classify cases according to type and priority.
- Manage timely publication of judicial principles and decisions.
- Oversee digital archiving of cases and reports for future reference.
- Address escalated issues and enforce corrective actions.
People Management
- Participate in talent identification and recruitment.
- Guide, mentor, and support team members.
- Develop performance objectives, evaluate performance, and provide feedback.
- Promote a high-performance environment aligned with ZATCA and GSTC values.
Job Details
Communication and Contacts
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Archives and Records Management or equivalent (required).
- Master’s degree in Archives and Records Management, Business Administration, or equivalent (preferred).
Experience
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
