Position Summary
The Procurement Executive will play a crucial role in sourcing and procuring goods and services for the company's event management and event services operations. This position requires strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of procurement processes. The Procurement Executive will be responsible for identifying suppliers, negotiating favorable terms, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Supplier Identification and Selection: Research and identify potential suppliers based on quality, price, and reliability.
- Request for Proposals (RFPs): Develop and issue RFPs to solicit bids from qualified suppliers.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
- Purchase Order Processing: Prepare and process purchase orders to initiate the procurement process.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure ongoing satisfaction and collaboration.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment as needed.
- Cost Control: Implement strategies to reduce procurement costs and optimize spending.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
- Understanding of event management and event services industry requirements.
