Overview:
The Infrastructure Operations Head is responsible for managing and overseeing all operational aspects of the network, ensuring seamless service delivery, reliability, and scalability. This role includes leadership in field operations, network performance monitoring, and the implementation of processes to ensure high availability and performance standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute operational strategies to ensure the network supports mission-critical IoT applications.
- Oversee all aspects of field maintenance operations, including preventative and corrective maintenance activities.
- Lead the Network Operations Center (NOC) to ensure continuous monitoring, fault resolution, and network performance optimization.
- Manage the Service Management Center to ensure compliance with SLAs and high service reliability.
- Implement and monitor KPIs to evaluate operational efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
- Coordinate with transport, core, and RAN teams to ensure seamless integration and cross-functional collaboration.
- Drive initiatives to improve network resilience, including disaster recovery planning and redundancy measures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies across all network operations.
- Develop and manage budgets for operational activities, ensuring cost-effective resource utilization.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in network operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Expertise in managing large-scale mission-critical networks, preferably in telecom or industrial IoT environments.
