Job Overview:
We are seeking for a Functional Odoo Consultant who will be responsible for assisting businesses in implementing the Odoo ERP system to streamline operations, enhance productivity, and improve efficiency. The chosen candidate will play a vital role in understanding clients needs, configuring the Odoo system to meet those requirements, and providing ongoing support and maintenance.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other departments to understand client's business processes, requirements, and objectives
- Conduct needs analysis and gap assessments to identify how Odoo can address specific business challenges
- Configure and customize the Odoo ERP system to align with clients business processes and requirements
- Develop and implement modules, workflows, and custom applications as needed
- Assist in data migration from existing systems to Odoo
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the migration process
- Create training materials and documentation
- Integrate Odoo with third-party applications, APIs, and databases to streamline data flow and improve business operations
- Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to identify and rectify system issues or errors
- Ensure the system performs as expected and meets client requirements
- Address system-related issues, implement updates, and assist with system enhancements
- Maintain detailed records of configurations, customizations, and client-specific requirements
- Create user manuals and system documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience in implementing and configuring the Odoo ERP system
- Strong knowledge of Odoo's functional modules (e.g., CRM, Accounting, Inventory, HR, Manufacturing)
- Proficiency in Python programming is a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
