Job description

Advanced Smelting Industries Co. (ASIC), which is equally owned by Tasnee, offers an exciting opportunity at Slagger Company for a Technician, E&I based in Jizan.

About the role:

Responsible for maintaining and ensuring the smooth operation of the ilmenite smelter plant's equipment daily, including electrical safety and adherence to safe working practices. Directly oversee the upkeep of substations, generators, pumps, and plant instrumentation.

You will be responsible for:

  1. Perform routine and basic inspections and maintenance of equipment following SOPs and instructions from superiors to support integrity and reliability.
  2. Perform preventive and corrective repairs on assigned equipment across various disciplines.
  3. Provide prompt responses to equipment service requests to ensure timely and effective uptime.
  4. Conduct electrical equipment inspections, renovations, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
  5. Conduct instrumentation inspections, calibration, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
  6. Report deficiencies in equipment through proper channels.
  7. Support operating units during turn-around shutdowns and start-up activities to ensure timely completion.

Minimum Qualification: Diploma in Electrical/Instrumentation Technology.

Minimum Experience: 6+ years in heavy industries.
