A leading company in the FMCG sector is seeking a Deputy Executive Director to drive growth and operational excellence. The role involves strategic leadership, overseeing operations, and collaborating with sales and marketing teams. One of Our Clients is looking for an experienced Deputy Executive Director (DED) plays a pivotal leadership role in driving the growth, efficiency, and profitability of the FMCG business. Working closely with the Executive Director, the DED oversees key business functions including operations, sales, marketing, supply chain, finance, and people development. The role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on management style and a deep understanding of the dynamics of the fast-moving consumer goods industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
Assist the Executive Director in developing and executing the overall business strategy
Identify new business opportunities, product lines, and market expansion strategies
Operational Excellence
Oversee daily operations across departments to ensure alignment with company objective
Drive initiatives to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase profitability.
Sales and Marketing
Collaborate with sales and marketing leadership to drive brand awareness and market penetration.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to adjust strategies proactively.
Financial Oversight
Support the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning process
Monitor KPIs and ensure financial health of the business through cost controls and revenue growth.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
10+ years of experience in leadership roles within the FMCG sector.
Proven track record in strategic planning, operational management, and team leadership.
Strong knowledge of market dynamics, consumer behavior, and FMCG distribution channels.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
