# Director of Business Development

Job Description

We are currently seeking passionate and dynamic sales professionals who pride themselves on delivering exceptional customer service and fulfilling all business requirements for the organization.

As a Director of Business Development, you will be responsible for implementing all sales activities and maximizing the property's business opportunities. You will also lead the property's MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) business, support the segment sales strategy, and achieve segment revenue goals, overall property goals, and guest satisfaction.

The role acts as the main link between the property and the Area Sales Office, conducting all sales-related activities with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships to meet sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee the overall business requirements of the hotel’s top-producing accounts through various sales and marketing actions.
  2. Conduct hotel facility and service show-arounds.
  3. Implement and execute sales action plans to promote hotel promotions, facilities, and activities.
  4. Handle leads received by the property along with the main account manager in the Area Sales Office.
  5. Assist in executing the property sales plan and participate with the executive committee in preparing the yearly sales plan.
  6. Establish and maintain files of major accounts, keeping up-to-date information on competitors’ rates, promotions, and strategies.
  7. Consolidate and finalize the monthly sales report and forward it to the concerned parties.
Skills
Education, Qualifications & Experiences

Hold a degree in sales with at least two years of postgraduate experience, preferably within the hotel industry. Must be computer literate with excellent presentation and communication skills, proficient in English; additional languages are an asset. Must be nationally and internationally mobile.
