Job Description
Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the IT department, ensuring the stable operation of the organization's IT infrastructure. This includes managing the IT support team, optimizing IT systems, implementing new technologies, and maintaining the highest level of security and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the IT department, ensuring efficient and effective support for all users.
- Manage and lead the IT support team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure the security and reliability of IT systems.
- Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, and software.
- Coordinate and manage IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
- Ensure data backup and disaster recovery plans are in place, tested, and effective.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure service levels are met.
- Monitor IT system performance and recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Develop and manage the IT operations budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and spending.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other departments and users as needed.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, making recommendations for future improvements and innovations.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect against data breaches, cyber threats, and vulnerabilities.
- Ensure timely resolution of IT issues and incidents.
- Prepare and present regular reports on IT operations, performance, and metrics to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university.
- Master's degree in a related field from a recognized and accredited university is preferred.
