Electrical Project Engineer

General Characteristic:

• An Electrical Project Engineer who will be responsible for overseeing and managing all the Electrical Construction/Warranty related Jobs in Aramco and SABIC Projects. Candidate should have hands-on experience in site activities, troubleshooting, and ensure smooth execution of Electrical projects within the oil and gas and petrochemical industries.

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Supervise the Installation of Electrical Systems, including Cabling, Lighting and Earthing.
2. Co-ordinate with Site S/V’s, Subcontractors.
3. Monitor Progress and Resolve Technical Issues at site.
4. Ability to prepare Testing and Commissioning Plans for Electrical Systems.
5. Assist in preparation of As-Built Drawings.
6. Prepare Technical Specifications and Review Vendor Proposals.
7. Experience in Conducting Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for Electrical Equipment.
8. Good Reporting and Problem-Oriented Skills.
9. Ability to lead and Monitor Site related Electrical Activities.
10. Good Interface Knowledge with other disciplines.
11. Knowledge on Switchgear, Transformers, Protection system and resolve issues if any.

Education & Certification:

- BE or B Tech in Electrical Engineering

Experience:

- Minimum of 8-10 years working experience in a similar profile or as Electrical Design/Construction Engineer

- Working experience in an EPC Industry, construction Industry

Knowledge and Skills Set:

• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
• Good Communication Skills, Strong Project Management.
• Basic Knowledge on Electrical Software and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Construction issues and on-site experience (Min 5 Years).
• Ability to lead and resolve all Technical Issues.
• Awareness on Construction safety.
• Ready to work in Saudi Project Sites.

Language Skills:

• English fluency (Speaking & writing)
