A leading equipment distributor in Saudi Arabia is seeking a motivated Senior Sales Engineer to drive sales of premium road and construction equipment in Jeddah. The role involves developing key customer relationships and contributing to team growth. Ideal candidates will have a strong sales background and a deep understanding of the local construction market.
MEDCO is looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Sales Engineer to lead the sales of a portfolio of premium Road and construction equipment in Jeddah and support the sales network in the wider Western Region.
The successful candidate will focus on driving direct sales, developing key customer relationships, and contributing to the future development of a specialized sales team in this product segment as the operation grows.
While this is a purely sales-focused individual contributor role, it offers strong career growth potential — the successful candidate may be entrusted with developing a full sales team and leading the product segment in the region in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive sales of road and construction equipment in Jeddah and surrounding areas
• Build and manage strong relationships with contractors, fleet owners, and rental companies
• Prepare and execute a business plan to expand the product presence in the Western Region
• Conduct client visits, site assessments, and equipment demonstrations
• Follow up on sales leads, inquiries, and quotations generated within the region
• Monitor and report on competitor activity, pricing trends, and customer demands
• Collaborate with after-sales and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and equipment performance
• Provide product and application advice based on client needs and site requirements
• Track pipeline activity, submit accurate sales forecasts, and deliver on monthly targets
• Represent brands in line with MEDCO’s and supplier standards
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Civil Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in Road & Construction equipment
• Strong understanding of compaction, paving, and earthmoving equipment applications
• Solid knowledge of the Western Region construction market, especially Jeddah
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and technical selling skills
• Fluent in Arabic and English
• Valid Saudi driving license
