Role and Responsibilities:

As a Procurement Specialist, you will formulate and drive a consistent approach to sourcing, purchasing, and tendering activities for non-Beckman items. Your main goal is to maximize value for money and generate cost savings. You will collaborate with Sales, Operations, Regulatory, Quality Assurance, and Finance teams to ensure seamless procurement processes.

• Manage and collaborate with the team to drive sourcing and purchasing activities.
• Develop tendering strategies for cost-effective solutions.
• Coordinate with departments such as Sales, Operations, Regulatory, Quality Assurance, and Finance.

Job Requirements:

• Follow procurement procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Select and manage suppliers, including creating item and supplier codes.
• Assess suppliers periodically and initiate cost improvement programs.
• Maintain compliance with document control and regulations.
• Issue Purchase Orders and monitor deliveries to ensure timely procurement.
• Resolve vendor dues in coordination with accounts payable.
• Maintain inventory levels for stockable items.
• Perform analysis and generate reports to support decision-making.
• Identify supply risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Optimize suppliers and service providers to reduce costs through negotiation and cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' procurement experience.
• Experience in medical field sourcing is a plus.
• Knowledge of the purchase-to-pay process, including drop-ship transactions.
• Oracle experience is highly desirable.

Preferred Skills:

• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
