Job description

Definition:

  • A Spare Part Coordinator is the person responsible for coordinating the spare parts program. This role involves coordinating with Vendors & Aramco's Cataloguing Contractor (M&SSD) to fulfill the Spare Parts requirements as per the Saudi Aramco Guidelines.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of SPDP Submission Plan at the start of each Project and getting approval from Saudi Aramco before the SPDP KOM is conducted.
  • Conduct SPDP KOM with ARAMCO M&SSD, ARAMCO PMT and Contractor (Samsung E&A).
  • Identifying PO items that will require Spare Parts and liaising with the Company for the final list of applicable SPDP items.
  • Communicate SPDP preparation guidelines with all Vendors required SPDP & explain during KOM as well.
  • Continuous follow-up with vendors for preparation & submission of SPDP.
  • Reviewing the supplier SPDP submittals for accuracy, format, and completeness, and promptly resolving deficiencies before submitting the SPDP to Saudi Aramco.
  • Ensuring that the assembly of the SPDPs follows the requirements of SAEP-31.
  • Submission of monthly status reports.
  • Coordinate between ARAMCO & Vendors for resolving any queries or deficiencies in the Spare Parts document as identified by the Company's Materials Standardization Division till the package is accepted by Saudi Aramco.
  • Prepare a mitigation plan for the delayed SPDP & share it with Aramco.
  • Prepare & issue the weekly status report to related parties.
  • Preside on weekly or bi-weekly Spare Parts Status Meetings with stakeholders.

Skills

  • Bachelor of Engineering, and/or other related discipline.

Experience:

  • 08-10 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry with Saudi Aramco Projects.
