Job Summary: The Digital Marketing Officer is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing data-driven digital marketing strategies to drive student recruitment, website traffic, and lead generation. This role focuses on paid advertising campaigns, SEO, SEM, email marketing, and performance analytics to maximize ROI. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, analytical, and experienced in leveraging digital channels to meet marketing objectives in the medical higher education sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Digital Strategy & Campaign Management
● Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies to enhance student recruitment and institutional visibility.
● Manage paid advertising campaigns across platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and display networks.
● Collaborate with the Content & Social Media Specialist to align paid strategies with organic content efforts.
● Coordinate with the Marketing Analyst/Strategist to refine targeting and audience segmentation.
2. Email Marketing & Automation
● Develop and execute email marketing campaigns for lead nurturing, student recruitment, and engagement.
● Manage CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce) to segment audiences and automate workflows.
● Track email performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates) and optimize accordingly.
3. Performance Analytics & Reporting
● Track and analyze campaign performance metrics (CTR, CPA, ROI, conversion rates) using Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and other analytics tools.
● Conduct A/B testing to optimize ad creatives, landing pages, and email campaigns.
● Provide weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
● Collaborate with the Marketing Analyst/Strategist for deeper data analysis and market insights.
4. Budget & Resource Management
● Manage digital marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources for maximum ROI.
● Optimize ad spend across channels, adjusting bids and targeting for peak performance.
● Coordinate with external vendors and agencies for specialized digital marketing projects when needed.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. Certification in Google Ads, Meta Ads, or SEO is a plus.
● Experience: 3-5 years in digital marketing, performance marketing, or online advertising, preferably in higher education or healthcare marketing.
● Expertise in Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and other paid media platforms.
● Proficiency in Google Analytics, CRM platforms, and marketing automation tools. ● Experience in email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Constant Contact) and automation workflows.
● Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and optimize campaigns accordingly.
● Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
