Job Description

Wood is recruiting expertise in field surveys for ecology to work with our Environment team in Al Khobar office.

Responsibilities

1. Proficiency in ecological survey techniques (e.g., sampling design, species identification, habitat evaluation).
2. Planning and undertaking ecological surveys to identify and assess flora, fauna, and habitats in project areas, including biodiversity assessments, habitat mapping, and ecological monitoring.
3. Familiarity with national and international environmental regulations, including biodiversity and ecological protection.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for producing reports and engaging with stakeholders.

Qualifications

Educational Background:

• Bachelor's degree in biology, Environmental Science, Botany, Zoology, or a related field.
• Registration with international environmental institutions such as CIEEM / IES / IEMA (preferred).

Experience

• 4 to 6 years of proven experience in ecological surveys, biodiversity assessments, and habitat mapping in KSA or the Middle East.
• Strong experience in conducting ecological surveys across various sectors (e.g., oil and gas, energy, infrastructure, construction) in KSA or the Middle East.
