We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team on a part-time basis. As an African woman, you will be given preference for this position. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with all accounting regulations. You will also provide financial analysis and assist with budgeting and forecasting. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for flexible working hours and the option to work remotely.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Provide financial analysis to support decision-making processes
- Communicate financial information to relevant stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and changes in accounting practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting role
- Knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and standards (GAAP)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software (Quickbooks preferred)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Preference for African women candidates
