Job description

• Experience in Manufacturing / Automobile / Engineering / Process industry in installation, troubleshooting and repairing of machines and utility equipment such as;
  • Electric motors, pumps, air conditioning systems, compressors, centrifugal pumps, portable electrical generators.
  • Lathe, shaper and milling machines.
  • Hydraulic Press machines, sheet and pipe roller machines, press brakes, Injection molding machines.
  • Welding machines, plate cutting machines, flame cutting machines
  • Mobile cranes, man lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts
• A good knowledge about maintenance and trouble shooting of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance programs for all the machinery such as replacement of hydraulic oil, bearings and other parts subject to regular wear and tear.
• Ability to go through maintenance manuals and machine literature to identify required spare parts and raise purchase requests.
• Possess sound electrical knowledge that might be required for work on above equipment.
• Monitor maintenance status of all portable equipment deployed for site work.
• Advise workers on the proper use of each piece of machinery or equipment.
• Experience in automobile maintenance, trouble shooting and repair will be an added advantage.

Key Skills required;

• Multi skilled persons are preferred for this position and shall be given priority upon..
• Ability to find spare parts online that are not available locally.
• Proficiency in English Language is a must.
• To be able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional certification course completed on Mechanical Maintenance

Age: 25 to 35 Max.
