Job description

A Snapshot of your day

As an IT Business Partner (f/m/d) at the Switching Gears factory in Dammam, you will drive the setup of the factory's IT landscape, including network infrastructure and advanced data analytics. You will also play a key role in financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and collaborating with various stakeholders. A significant part of your role involves hands-on involvement in digital initiatives, supervising operational technology for the Smart Factory, and recommending improvements.

1. Lead the IT setup for a new factory, focusing on infrastructure, applications, and automation.
2. Engage with diverse collaborators to ensure effective communication and collaboration across teams and organizational units.
3. Utilize extensive knowledge of factory operations to develop and implement digital solutions that improve operational efficiency.
4. Empower and lead the team, delegating tasks effectively to drive departmental efficiency.
5. Analyze complex situations to identify issues and implement informed resolutions, ensuring IT resiliency and availability.
6. Act as a consultant for digital transformation, leading global and local IT projects, and serving as the liaison between business needs and digital solutions.

What You Bring

1. Master’s or bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
2. Expertise in digital manufacturing and modernizing operational technology environments.
3. Proven experience in managing and successfully implementing digital projects.
4. Good understanding of applications, IT infrastructure, financial regulations, and cybersecurity standards.
5. Ability to manage IT-related business information, including cost calculation, budgeting, and financial transparency.
6. Proficiency in English; knowledge of SAP, Oracle Agile PLM, and experience with Grid Technology are advantageous.
