Job description

Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Civil Material Technician responsible for testing, sample preparation, and the collection and delivery of samples, as well as the preparation of test reports. Candidates should ideally have significant experience in construction material testing, either with a commercial testing laboratory or a contractor.

Responsibilities

1. Perform soil, concrete, and aggregate testing
2. Conduct density tests
3. Sample concrete for compression and flexural tests
4. Conduct slump testing
5. Have knowledge of or conduct asphalt testing (preferable)
6. Prepare and compile reports

Skills / Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Good communication skills and ability to work in teams and under pressure
• ARAMCO Approved technician with a valid driving license
