Job description

JASARA PMC is seeking a highly motivated Sustainability & Environmental Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work alongside a dynamic group of professionals committed to delivering sustainable solutions in construction and development projects. You will be responsible for integrating sustainability principles into project planning and execution, conducting environmental assessments, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote sustainable practices throughout the project lifecycle
• Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and sustainability evaluations for projects
• Develop and implement sustainability strategies that align with industry standards and local legislation
• Prepare and present comprehensive reports on sustainability initiatives and environmental compliance
• Stay informed on emerging trends, technologies, and regulations related to environmental sustainability
• Facilitate training and workshops to enhance sustainability awareness among project teams and stakeholders
• Assist in the certification process for sustainable building standards (e.g., LEED, BREEAM)
  
  
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sustainability and environmental engineering, particularly in construction or infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, sustainability frameworks, and best practices
• Experience in conducting EIA and developing sustainability reports
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience in stakeholder engagement
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Relevant certifications in sustainability (e.g., LEED, ISO 14001) are a plus
