Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Mechanical Engineer to oversee and manage mechanical systems installation and operations on-site for our construction projects. This role involves supervising the mechanical works, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety standards, coordinating with project teams, and troubleshooting issues to maintain project timelines and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in mechanical engineering, with a proven track record in on-site project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Supervision: Oversee all on-site mechanical installations, ensuring compliance with design specifications, codes, and safety regulations.
• Technical Support: Provide hands-on technical guidance to the site team, resolve issues promptly, and ensure that installations align with project requirements.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections and quality checks on mechanical systems, ensuring high standards and addressing any non-compliance immediately.
• Project Coordination: Work closely with other engineering disciplines, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of mechanical tasks and alignment with the overall project schedule.
• Resource & Material Management: Monitor the usage of mechanical materials and resources, ensuring timely availability and cost-effective management.
• Testing & Commissioning: Oversee the testing, commissioning, and calibration of mechanical systems, ensuring they meet operational standards.
• Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed progress reports, document site activities, and maintain accurate records of any design or specification changes.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in mechanical site engineering, ideally with a background in large-scale construction projects.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in mechanical engineering software (such as AutoCAD, Revit) and a solid understanding of mechanical systems and industry standards.
• Core Competencies: Strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
