Job description

About the job: Director - EPM Service Line

Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver the annual KSA EPM Service Line budget targets: Revenue, Gross Margin, Contribution, EBITDA, Operating Profit, and positive cash flow.
  2. Lead the KSA EPM Service Line budget and business plan process in collaboration with the East Region Leadership Team.
  3. Provide regular internal communications on business performance and updates to all KSA staff in collaboration with the East Region Leadership Team.
  4. Resolve performance issues within the region with the East EVP and East Region Leadership Team to achieve business plan objectives.
  5. Identify potential clients and market areas for the company's EPM service lines in KSA.
  6. Work directly with Regional Head of Sales & Marketing to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies, including supporting sales opportunities, proposal and tender submissions, and strategic business development plans.
  7. Coordinate business development activities among stakeholders and support the development and maintenance of related processes.
  8. Manage the KSA EPM Service Line team to ensure effective service delivery.
  9. Assess project performance regularly and implement corrective actions to maximize client satisfaction and gross margin.
  10. Gather client feedback to improve project delivery standards.
  11. Promote sharing of best practices through our Engineering Body of Knowledge (EBOK) and Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
  12. Ensure all projects are delivered as per contractual commitments, maintaining high quality and timeliness.
  13. Manage relationships with strategic KSA EPM clients.
  14. Manage engineering staff utilization and overhead costs proactively.
  15. Uphold company values to create a safe, rewarding, and productive working environment.
  16. Ensure compliance with group policies and procedures across various domains including legal, financial, HR, QHSE, and IT.
  17. Support EVP in corporate governance, risk management, and decision-making processes.
  18. Provide local leadership to engage and include staff in the company's team.
  19. Travel as required to support business needs.
  20. Lead all engineering disciplines, ensuring team competencies and resource adequacy.
  21. Oversee recruitment, performance monitoring, and development of engineering personnel.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills):

  1. Over 20 years of work experience.
  2. More than 5 years of successful leadership of an engineering delivery team, preferably in a Tier 1/Tier 2 engineering consultancy.
  3. Over 5 years of experience working with Saudi Aramco.
  4. Experience in P&L management and business development is advantageous but not essential.
  5. Regional knowledge of KSA engineering consultancy, with experience working with NOCs, IOCs, and EPC clients.
  6. Experience in upstream and midstream sectors is essential; downstream renewable energy experience is a plus.
  7. Prior engineering design and project management experience is beneficial.
  8. Excellent people management and strategic planning skills.
  9. Strong client service principles, organizational, and time management skills.
  10. Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and delegate effectively.
  11. Collaborative approach to build a positive team culture.
