On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead all aspects of technology strategy, development, and execution within the organization.

This is a senior leadership position requiring a strong foundation in technology, strategic foresight, and a collaborative mindset. The successful candidate will drive innovation, support business growth, and ensure operational excellence across all technical functions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technology Strategy & Vision
   Develop and implement a scalable, forward-looking technology roadmap aligned with our client's business objectives. Leverage emerging technologies to sustain a competitive advantage across digital wallets, payments, crowdfunding, and media platforms.
2. Leadership & Team Management
   Establish and lead a high-performing, multidisciplinary technology team. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Provide mentorship and strategic direction to drive technical excellence and team development.
3. Product Development & Technology Delivery
   Oversee the design, architecture, and rollout of secure and intuitive platforms. Ensure technology initiatives are aligned with strategic priorities, driving innovation in digital financial services.
4. IT Infrastructure & Security
   Ensure the robustness, scalability, and security of IT infrastructure. Implement and uphold industry-leading standards for data privacy, compliance, and operational reliability.
5. Technology Trends & Innovation
   Identify and integrate cutting-edge technologies including AI, blockchain, and others to strengthen operational capabilities and enhance product offerings. Stay ahead of industry trends to maintain technological leadership.
6. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
   Work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to align technology efforts with broader business goals. Cultivate external partnerships to accelerate innovation and strategic growth.
7. Budgeting & Resource Allocation
   Effectively manage the technology budget, ensuring optimal use of resources. Prioritize initiatives based on risk, ROI, and business impact.

Job requirements

• Fluent in Arabic
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a proven track record in managing and scaling digital platforms (e.g., digital wallets, payment systems, crowdfunding, marketplaces, and media technologies).
• Extensive experience with modern software development practices, cloud infrastructure, data architectures, and security protocols.
• Deep knowledge of payment technologies, financial regulations, digital wallets, and emerging fintech trends (e.g., blockchain, AI, decentralized finance).
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and working collaboratively with non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Expertise in managing full product development lifecycles, from ideation to execution.
• Ability to understand complex technical challenges and communicate them to non-technical stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure, DevOps, security, and cloud technologies (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc.).
• Strategic thinker with the ability to make data-driven decisions and prioritize effectively.
