About the Job

An opportunity has arisen for Assistant Director of Finance in Finance Department to join Jumeirah Group.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

• Lead the ongoing monitoring of the SBU’s financial transactions and balance to ensure that all expenditures remain within budget, that profitability is maintained at the expected levels and that there is full visibility on the SBU’s financial performance.
• Monitor the SBU’s transactional finance activities, in close collaboration with the Shared Service Centre (SSC), and focus on improving and enhancing billing and collection cycles as well as collection processes in order to ensure optimal treasury management.
• Lead the implementation of internal financial controls and ethics policies in accordance with local laws and financial policies to protect and safeguard the SBU’s assets and financial resources against any possible deviations and/ or violations.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

Essential

• Professional accounting accreditation such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, CGMA, CMA
• Bachelor’s degree in commerce/business/accounting or similar
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role in Saudi Arabia / GCC
• Excellent Communication and Written Skills
• Microsoft Office skills (advanced Excel, PowerPoint)
• Agility, Adaptability, Emotional Intelligence

Desired:

• Knowledge of Oracle ERP, SUN
