Job Purpose
Oversee and optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to safety standards for the successful and timely delivery of high-quality products.
Key Accountability Areas
- Planning and Coordination: Meticulously plan and coordinate daily production processes to ensure consistent generation of high-quality products.
- Engineering Support: Provide essential engineering support, particularly in production and maintenance, to maximize overall production efficiency.
- Process Improvement and Optimization: Actively pursue initiatives to develop and implement process improvements, focusing on equipment and material utilization for optimized output. Conduct ongoing evaluations and recommend enhancements. Execute cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality standards.
- Documentation and Training: Develop comprehensive operating instructions and equipment specifications. Provide training and guidance to team members, ensuring they stay current with product specifications, engineering technology, and production processes.
- Best Practices and Problem Resolution: Continuously develop and refine best practices to enhance capacity, quality, and reliability. Use systematic approaches for problem investigation, root cause analysis, and solution derivation.
- Inventory and 5S Implementation: Control and monitor WIP and sub-store inventory. Implement 5S processes in collaboration with the safety in-charge to improve workplace organization.
- Policy Adherence: Ensure strict compliance with manufacturing policies and standard procedures to foster a structured operational environment.
Role Accountability
- HR Proficiency: Train subordinates, provide leadership and coaching, delegate tasks, and maintain team motivation and morale.
- Delivery: Execute planned activities to meet operational and development targets, utilizing resources effectively. Provide periodic reports on deviations and task execution.
- Problem-Solving: Address operational problems and escalate complex issues appropriately.
- Quality: Ensure quality standards are met through effective control processes and specifications.
- Business Process Improvements: Coordinate the development of written systems, policies, procedures, and explore automation opportunities.
- Compliance: Adhere to policies, procedures, and work instructions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- 6 to 10 years of relevant work experience
