• Create financial models to evaluate potential new investment opportunities and present the results and recommendations concisely.
• Develop financial models to assess investment exit strategies.
• Update financial models with actual data to evaluate investments.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
• Advise the executive management on investment-related decisions.
• Record journal entries, perform periodic bank reconciliations, prepare quarterly and annual financial statements, coordinate with external auditors, and prepare budget estimates.
• Complying with all company, accounting and financial regulations.
• Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data.
• Creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc.
• Presenting data to managers, investors, and other entities.
• Maintaining accurate financial records.
• Performing audits and resolving discrepancies.
• Tax calculation and submission of VAT return, if applicable, and uploading it on the Zakat and Tax Authority website.
• Submission of the annual zakat return after completing the financial statements and uploading it on the Zakat and Tax Authority website.
• Follow up on uploading the financial statements on the Qawaem platform.
• Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting.
• Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
• Supervise the receipt of all investment and administrative correspondence directed to the CEO’s office, record, classify, and archive it.
• Coordinate meetings related to the company’s activities and those associated with the CEO’s work.
Skills
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, or in a related specialization.
• Special licenses or certification may be required.
• A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in the field is required.
• Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners.
• Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of financial reporting and data mining tools such as SQL, Access, etc.
• Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
