Job description

Contribute to nursing policies and procedures that conform to current standards of nursing practice and operational policies while maintaining compliance with accreditation standards.

Comply with CBAHI standards and other regulations.

Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other medical team members to improve the quality of services and resolve identified problems.

Participate in daily or weekly management team meetings to discuss updates or resident complaints & concerns.

Monitor the infection control program designed to provide a safe and comfortable environment to prevent the transmission of disease and infection.

Promote compliance with accident prevention procedures, rules, and safe work practices.

Monitor incidents and complaints daily to identify those defined as unusual occurrences by hospital policy and promptly report to authorities for appropriate action.

Qualification & Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree.
  • Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-year experience for non-Saudis.
  • Current Registration in the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties as a Registered Nurse / Nurse Technician or at least dataflow is done.
  • For supervisory positions such as a head nurse or in-charge nurse, a minimum of 2-3 years of managerial experience is needed.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, and NRP, certification is required according to the specialty and relevant training.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Knowledge of regulations established by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties related to healthcare practices.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Skills to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
