Your Role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager, Administration and Accounting, to manage the day-to-day financial activities of subsidiaries of Hyatt Hotels Corporation incorporated in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. This role also involves administrative tasks related to the legal entity in Saudi Arabia, including employment matters. This position reports to the Director of Corporate Finance at the EAME Regional Office in Zurich, Switzerland.

Your Responsibilities

  • Financial Management: Prepare monthly journal entries and reconciliations for timely closing of monthly and quarterly periods.
  • Vendor and Payroll Management: Maintain vendor listings, submit invoices, and prepare monthly payments. Coordinate payroll preparation with external providers to ensure timely and accurate payments, including GOSI and Pension Contributions.
  • Statutory Compliance: Assist in preparing statutory financial statements and participate in annual audits with external auditors. Help prepare corporate income tax and VAT filings.
  • Employee Onboarding and Support: Assist in onboarding new employees, collate payroll information, and handle registration and termination with governmental authorities in Saudi Arabia.
  • Communication and Liaison: Liaise with internal and external parties, including accountants, tax advisors, HR specialists, and financial advisors. Manage office correspondence and ensure data integrity by maintaining appropriate records and documentation.
  • Employee Support: Communicate with employees regarding payroll matters, address inquiries, and resolve payroll issues.

Your Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on financial compliance, monthly close, annual financial statements, and tax filings.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in accounting or a related field.
  • CPA (or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel is required; Oracle, Excel4Apps, and HFM skills are preferred.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken) is essential.
