Job description

CEQUENS is a leading cloud communication platform in the Middle East and Africa region, dedicated to simplifying communications and building bridges for businesses to connect with their customers worldwide. The company provides Omni-Channel communication APIs that enable enterprises and developers to communicate seamlessly with their customer base.

The Presales & Customer Solutions Engineer is responsible for supporting the sales process by providing technical expertise and solutions to potential clients. This role involves understanding customer requirements, presenting the technical aspects of the product, and ensuring a smooth transition from presales to implementation. The position is based onsite in Riyadh, so candidates should ideally already be located in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities :
  1. Technical Consultation :
    • Engage with prospective clients to understand their technical requirements and challenges.
    • Provide detailed technical information and support throughout the sales cycle.
    • Tailor CPaaS solutions to meet customer needs, aligning with their business goals.
  2. Solution Design and Demonstration :
    • Develop and deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations highlighting SaaS / CPaaS capabilities.
    • Create proof-of-concept projects and custom demos to showcase the product's value.
    • Assist in designing solutions that integrate with the client's existing systems.
  3. Collaboration with Sales and Product Teams :
    • Work closely with sales teams to develop strategies and proposals.
    • Collaborate with product management and engineering to relay customer feedback and influence development.
    • Contribute technical input for RFP/RFI responses and sales proposals.
  4. Customer Engagement and Support :
    • Act as a trusted technical advisor during the sales process.
    • Conduct technical workshops, webinars, and training sessions for customers and partners.
    • Ensure smooth handover from sales to implementation with clear documentation of technical requirements.
  5. Market and Product Expertise :
    • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies in SaaS and CPaaS.
    • Maintain a deep understanding of the company's product features, benefits, and technical specifications.
  6. Documentation and Reporting :
    • Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution design documents, FAQs, and whitepapers.
    • Report on presales activities, customer feedback, and market trends regularly.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
  • Proficient knowledge of SaaS and CPaaS architectures, APIs, and integration methods.
  • Experience in crafting impactful use cases and customer journeys based on business analysis.
  • Understanding of AI concepts and models, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and their applications.
  • Ability to effectively interface with C-level executives and technical decision-makers, conducting demos, PoCs, and workshops.
  • Experience in creating high-level architecture designs and solution integrations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience in a technical presales or customer-facing role within SaaS or CPaaS industries.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.
Preferred Qualifications :
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect.
  • Experience with CRM and sales enablement tools.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management practices.
Educational Background :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields. Advanced degrees are a plus.
