Role: The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) is responsible for developing and executing the commercial strategy to maximize revenue and profitability. This role involves overseeing sales, marketing, business development, and customer relationship functions. The CCO works closely with the executive team to ensure alignment with the company's long-term goals and to drive sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement the commercial strategy to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Advise the executive team and board on market trends, competitive positioning, and strategic opportunities.
Sales and Business Development:
- Lead and manage the sales team to optimize performance and achieve targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to expand the company’s market presence.
- Develop and nurture relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Marketing and Branding:
- Oversee the marketing strategy to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
- Drive marketing initiatives, campaigns, and customer outreach programs.
Customer Experience and Relationship Management:
- Ensure a consistent and positive customer experience throughout the sales and post-sales process.
- Oversee customer support and service quality to maintain high satisfaction and retention rates.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead the commercial team, including sales, marketing, and customer relations.
- Plan, hire, and mentor staffs to foster a high-performance culture.
Performance and Reporting:
- Monitor key performance metrics and commercial KPIs, providing regular updates to the management.
- Prepare reports and analyses to inform strategic decision-making.
- Ensure data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement in commercial operations.
Budgeting and Financial Oversight:
- Develop and manage budgets for the commercial department.
- Analyze financial data to forecast sales and revenue growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or any related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial leadership roles, preferably in real estate industry
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful commercial strategies.
- Strong strategic planning, strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
