Overview:

The Interface Coordinator is a critical role that serves as a liaison between different teams, stakeholders, or systems to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and integration. The position requires strong organizational, technical, and interpersonal skills to manage complex relationships and facilitate seamless interactions.

The Interface Coordinator will support the Interface & Stakeholder Manager and will be responsible for the day-to-day management of interface issues between the project contractor and the project team. The role involves ensuring all interfaces are identified, registered, managed, and concluded in a timely and structured manner. The Interface Coordinator reports functionally to the Interface & Stakeholder Manager.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate and facilitate meetings, workshops, and collaborative activities.
  2. Develop and maintain interface documentation, such as IPs and user interfaces.
  3. Ensure data integrity and consistency across different systems.
  4. Manage and resolve conflicts or issues between teams, contractors, or stakeholders.
  5. Initiate and chair regular interface meetings to align and share information effectively.
  6. Coordinate internal interface issues proactively, expedite technical matters, and escalate issues as needed.
  7. Ensure interfaces are identified, defined, and settled systematically, working with counterparts to prepare and coordinate interface deliverables.
  8. Maintain interface coordination documentation and produce progress reports.
  9. Keep interface registers (action logs) updated to track the status of interface definitions.
  10. Obtain interface deliverable information according to the schedule.
  11. Promote a productive relationship between the project team, clients, and contractors, fostering collaboration and teamwork.
