The Role

We are seeking a full-time, professional, career-oriented engineer to join our Monarch System Management Applications team. A key responsibility for our DGM customers is maintaining and administering their SCADA systems and related applications to ensure synchronization with the expanding and updating electrical network.

The System Management Application Engineers support system management application implementation and define maintenance strategies for customer projects. This involves collaborating with project teams to understand system requirements and use cases, and instructing customers on how to use DGM applications to enhance their maintenance and administration processes in terms of quality, efficiency, and safety. Success in this role requires becoming a subject matter expert in system maintenance principles and working with other product SMEs to design integrations with modeling tools, advanced applications, and third-party products.

Your Impact
  • Assess customer requirements and design solutions, including leading design and configuration workshops.
  • Guide project engineers in configuring the System Management applications.
  • Train customers on maintenance tools and best practices.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), assisting with system management questions, troubleshooting, and challenges.
  • Develop and refine product and system configuration standards and design templates related to system management.
  • Participate as an active project member in tasks focused on System Management applications when required.
  • Maintain a knowledge base of system management principles to provide recommendations and guidance to customers, project teams, and third-party implementers.
  • Manage database content, display, and model management, build calculations and scripts, oversee system settings and permissions, and administer users and consoles.
  • Manage Monarch and third-party software patching.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
  • Over 3 years of Project Engineering experience.
  • Experience with SCADA and/or OT systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks strategically.
  • Experience or knowledge of utility operations is preferred.
  • Expertise in data management and maintenance principles is preferred.

The salary range for this role is $74,200 - $92,800, reflecting our current estimate of base compensation. Compensation may vary based on factors and may be adjusted in the future. This role is eligible for bonuses or incentives. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, charitable giveback day, medical/dental/vision insurance, and retirement benefits for eligible employees.
