Job Description

As an AutoCAD Drafter, you will be responsible for creating precise and detailed technical drawings and plans for mechanical and electrical systems. You will collaborate closely with engineers to ensure that designs meet specifications and are delivered on time. Your role will require a strong understanding of AutoCAD software, as well as the ability to interpret technical drawings and convert them into actionable plans.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and prepare detailed mechanical and electrical drawings using AutoCAD software.
2. Collaborate with engineering teams to understand project requirements and incorporate design changes.
3. Create drawings for equipment layouts, wiring diagrams, schematics, and other technical documentation.
4. Review and verify the accuracy of designs and ensure they comply with applicable codes and standards.
5. Assist in the preparation of project documentation and provide technical support as required.
6. Revise drawings as needed and ensure proper documentation of any modifications.
7. Communicate design concepts and progress with the responsible engineer, ensuring that deadlines are met.
8. Work with engineers to track project timelines and deliverables.

Requirements

1. Proven experience as an AutoCAD Drafter with a focus on mechanical and electrical plans.
2. Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and understanding of technical drawings.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Nationality: Indian, Pakistani.
2. Familiarity with additional software tools related to drafting and design (e.g., Revit, SolidWorks, etc.) is a plus.
3. Additional certifications in drafting or design-related fields will be an advantage.
