Job description

Role & Responsibilities

Need Tekla Designer for a leading Oil and Gas company.

Experience: 6-10 years in a structural steel manufacturing company related to the oil and gas industry. Experience in Aramco or Sabic projects will be advantageous.

Qualification: B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.

Age: 25 to 40 years.

Responsibilities:

1. Create 3D models of structures based on input from design engineers.
2. Check for clashes in joint connections and inform design engineers.
3. Create connection designs based on input from design engineers.
4. Generate part drawings from the models.
5. Issue drawings to the production department as per company procedures.
6. Create bills of materials.
7. Prepare cutting plans for various types of structural members.
8. Verify that generated drawings conform to design inputs and client-provided drawings.

Competencies:

1. Proficient in Tekla Structures, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
2. Familiar with software such as STAAD.Pro and Revit.
3. Knowledge of structural codes like AISC and Aramco standards.
4. Proficient in desktop software (Word, Excel, etc.).
5. Good communication skills in English (reading and writing).
