Responsibilities
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will lead localized brand positioning, business development strategy, and content development. This role is embedded within the KSA delivery team and is responsible for aligning business development outputs. Key responsibilities include:
- Market-Focused Marketing Strategy
- Develop, implement, and monitor business development strategies aligned with business goals.
- Maintain strong market intelligence on sector shifts, trends, and competitor positioning.
- Provide strategic input to OPTIMA management on market feedback and growth opportunities.
- Localize all marketing materials to meet Saudi client expectations and terminology.
- Proposal and Bid Support
- Manage proposal preparation processes.
- Support expression of interest (EOI), pre-qualification documents (PQD), and formal proposals in Arabic and English.
- Translate technical inputs into client-focused value propositions.
- Maintain up-to-date marketing collateral, capability statements, and credentials in both languages.
- Brand Building and Client Engagement
- Enhance thought leadership through articles, events, white papers, and media engagements.
- Represent OPTIMA at industry events and client forums in KSA and the GCC.
- Support internal branding initiatives and campaigns.
- Communications and Content Oversight
- Oversee campaign messaging across digital and print media.
- Manage digital presence, including the company website and LinkedIn, for visibility and branding.
- Ensure consistency and brand integrity in all materials issued by KSA teams.
- Project Execution
- Support project activities such as proposal handover, content development, and client documentation.
- Possess sufficient technical understanding of FM/O+M consultancy services to contribute meaningfully to projects alongside SMEs and project leads.
Qualifications
Essential
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or relevant FM consultancy field.
- At least 10 years of B2B marketing experience in KSA, particularly in FM, real estate, or the built environment sectors.
- Strong understanding of FM/O+M consultancy services and proposal development.
- Native-level proficiency in Arabic (spoken and written) and fluency in English.
- Deep knowledge of the Saudi FM market, including regulations, procurement processes, and client landscape.
- Ability to collaborate with project teams and contribute to FM/O+M deliverables.
Preferred
- Experience in proposal writing for design/FM consultancy or design-build and operate projects.
- Exposure to strategic marketing in Vision 2030, NEOM, or giga-program ecosystems.
- Knowledge of digital FM, CAFM, BIM-FM integration is advantageous.
- Familiarity with service line documentation such as ORAT strategies, FCA reports, or FM mobilization plans is advantageous.
