Job Title: Product Engineer

Development in internal Lear systems and engineering processes.

We are pleased to offer a great job opportunity for the position of Product Engineer, based in Quimistan, Honduras (E-Systems Division).

A Product Engineer is responsible for generating all the technical documentation of the harness, ensuring it meets customer requirements and specifications, following established procedures, and guaranteeing the delivery of reliable information within the required timelines.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Validate the product against drawings and customer specifications for Engineering Changes, New Starts, and Transfers.
  2. Prepare, review, compare, and load Cut Sheets in the UCS system and generate visual aids for special processes.
  3. Create and review cost studies in SEM (Smart Execution Management) and PCNs (Product Change Notices) in EDS (Electrical Distribution System) for each engineering change proposed by the client.
  4. Prepare DCN (Design Change Notice) and BCN (BOM Change Notice) to inform the team of engineering changes implemented in the plant.
  5. Elaborate, review, compare, and load standard times for harness manufacturing.
Qualifications
  1. Engineering Degree or related field.
  2. At least 1 year of experience, preferably in the automotive industry (not essential).
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  4. Proficient in English.
  5. Basic knowledge of programming.
  6. Strong analytical skills, creativity, initiative, and good communication skills.
  7. Availability for overtime.
