Core Responsibilities
- Demonstrates positive workplace behavior, in line with Corporate Values, at all times
- Demonstrates high management ability in managing diverse Transport & Mobility design management teams, setting performance goals for staff within the department
- Management and coordination of multi-disciplinary project teams, including coaching and mentoring staff to contribute effectively
- Supports the wider client project team throughout the project lifecycle
- Responsible for planning and coordination of technical research, site investigations, surveys, design management, project governance, coding, and technology drives, including infrastructure development in community areas
- Responsible for formulating, developing, implementing, and maintaining project-specific design governance, including procedures, standards, and reporting
- Drafts scope documents for external consultants, manages bid processes, reviews bids, and prepares recommendations
- Supervises client Transport & Mobility Engineers in technical design reviews, ensuring compliance and guiding remedial actions
- Establishes and reviews policies and operational procedures for the department based on standards and client requirements
- Undertakes technical assessments of external consultants and service providers
- Provides clear direction to external design teams, managing their performance and adherence to schedules and budgets
- Coordinates and manages interface and collaboration with consultants and stakeholders
- Manages work between various engineering departments and operational units within the client organization

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s degree preferred in Transport Engineering
Experience
- 20+ years in Transport & Mobility Engineering, with at least 10 years in management of large-scale projects
- Ability to lead design management teams from planning to implementation
- Strong understanding of development requirements, regulations, policies, standards, and guidelines
- Hands-on experience delivering project outputs with sound technical knowledge
- Knowledge of transportation modes, systems, infrastructure, traffic management, and modeling
- Experience with Smart Cities transportation systems and technologies
- Previous experience in KSA/Middle East preferred
- Flexibility, adaptability, and strong prioritization skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including report writing
- Proficiency in enterprise management software related to Transport & Mobility Engineering and GIS software
