FUNCTION: Operation

LOCATION: KSA

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

The role is responsible for executing the logistics strategy by translating and aligning its core elements into appropriate solutions delivering logistics services to relevant end-markets/distributors. It contributes to the performance of relevant markets by ensuring flawless outbound logistics of finished goods from end to end, supervising the performance of the 3PL, and ensuring relevant documentation accompanies shipments.

What You Will Be Accountable For

1. Ensure logistics service at the performance level agreed with the end-market is delivered.
2. Collaborate on monitoring KPIs with customers and suppliers.
3. Ensure logistics solutions work within the determined cost and efficiency frameworks, striving for continuous improvement.
4. Develop operational relationships with selected logistics providers.
5. Manage logistics transportation of FG to relevant regions to optimize availability at target points within budget and on time.
6. Monitor stock levels at the warehouse and execute a meaningful replenishment plan.
7. Manage inventory levels at the warehouse to ensure availability, optimal freshness (FEFO), and minimize OOS.
8. Liaise with the logistics divisions of distributors on order fulfillment.
9. Ensure shipment documentation meets end market requirements and is compliant with authorities.
10. Report KPIs such as daily stock reconciliation, warehouse conditions, and stock movements.
11. Maintain relationships with warehouse suppliers.
12. Oversee warehouse management, logistics planning, freight management, and routing optimization.
13. Implement delivery strategies, manage returns and recalls, and establish third-party partnerships.
14. Monitor third-party performance and manage trading documentation, security, and risk.

Essential Experience, Skills, and Knowledge

• 1-2 years’ experience in a logistics customer service department within an FMCG company.
• Previous supply chain experience is advantageous.
• Business planning skills and analytical capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of logistics operations, services by logistics partners, and implementation of logistics solutions.
• Knowledge of distribution capacities and constraints.
• Fluent in English.
• Understanding of finance, trade rules, and customs regulations.
