Job summary

A leading company in the oil and gas sector is seeking a Financial Accountant to manage bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and employee accounts analysis. The role requires strong ERP system management skills, particularly with Oracle R12 or Fusion, and a solid understanding of accounting principles. Job description

An excellent opportunity in a dynamic manufacturing environment, for a Global Oil & Gas Service company! as a Financial Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

Bank Reconciliations:

  • Perform regular reconciliations of multiple bank accounts.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all transactions are properly recorded and documented.

Accounts Payable:

  • Process and review supplier invoices and payments.
  • Monitor aging reports and manage payment cycles efficiently.
  • Liaise with vendors to resolve billing issues.

Employees Accounts Analysis:

  • Review and reconcile employee-related accounts, including advances, reimbursements, and deductions.
  • Ensure timely posting and accuracy of employee financial transactions.
  • Assist in payroll accounting when needed.

ERP System Management (Oracle R12 or Oracle Fusion):

  • Enter and manage financial data within the ERP system.
  • Generate and analyze financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and financial policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar accounting role.
  • Candidate must have an active SOCPA membership.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle R12 or Oracle Fusion ERP systems.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Mandatory):

  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) is a plus.
  • Experience in a multinational or large-scale organization.
