Job Description

The role is responsible to focuses on crafting clear, concise, and user-friendly copy within digital products to enhance user experiences. This role typically involves working closely with designers, product managers, and developers to create microcopy, content flows, and messaging that help guide users through interfaces smoothly. He/she aims to ensure that users not only understand how to interact with a product but also feel confident doing so.

Responsibilities

  • Enable high-quality user experience by crafting copy that meaningfully connects with our consumers and guides them through each step of their journey
  • Work with our team of UX researchers, designers, developers and the wider business at each stage of design, bringing ideas to life from drafts through prototypes to final copy
  • Define content strategy for a given product and write a clear and concise content across multiple touch points (including products names, labels and navigational elements, tutorials, user flows and notifications)
  • Deliver microcopy for functional interaction, writing for orientation, hierarchy and clarity in information architecture, wireframes and interface designs.
  • Create copy usage guidelines, update and maintain them by documenting iterations
  • Help UX researchers to write clear questions for their remote surveys
  • Participate in user research and analyze data from Various validations (US research or A/B testing)
  • Conduct user research to validate specific microcopy performance
  • Use new insights to irritate on a copy that resonate with user needs and deliver delight
  • Help customers feel welcome and empowered, carefully considering D360's tone of voice.
  • Advocate the end user while making sure the business requirements are met
  • Continually research and define best practice for UI copy
  • Perform any other duties assigned to by line manager related to the nature of the work
  • Enforce, incorporate, and comply with all necessary controls and related information security (EIS) policies, procedures, practices, training, reporting, personal due diligence and vigilance, within departmental/unit activities and operations.

  • A tertiary level qualification from a recognized institution in Communication or relevant field

Years & Nature of Experience

  • Recommended 3 to 5 years of equivalent experience where required competencies and experience has been demonstrated of UX Copy writing digital products, whether it's for websites, mobile apps, or software interfaces.
  • Demonstrate portfolio that showcase UX writing skills, producing copy of product experience that drive specific outcomes
  • Has passion for quality user-centered writing with great attention to details
  • Knowledge of user- centered UX principles and practices
