Title :

Ammonia / Syngas Sr. Technical Advisor

POSITION SUMMARY :

As an Ammonia / Syngas Process Engineer, you are responsible for performing process technology-related engineering work, leading project teams, and ensuring compliance with quality, timeline, and cost objectives.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

You will function as a technical specialist who makes decisions and provides recommendations with a significant impact on the company's engineering activities. Your tasks will include activities in engineering, delivering process deliverables, and providing site services for ammonia and syngas projects in KSA based on KBR technologies.

1. Participate in or lead the development of proposals and design packages for KBR-licensed ammonia, syngas, and hydrogen technologies, including establishing process design basis, developing process options, and optimizing the selected design.
2. Perform detailed process design calculations and develop process design simulations.
3. Participate in project kick-off meetings, PFD / P&ID reviews, and other client-facing meetings as necessary.
4. Serve as a process advisor during startup and commissioning activities.
5. Maintain effective communication with project team members, sales team, and technology leadership.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
• 15 years of relevant experience in ammonia / syngas and related process design (including process design, FEED, and field work), with a minimum of 10 years specifically in ammonia.
• Solid knowledge of chemical engineering disciplines, process design tools, and procedures.
• Operational experience is a plus.
• Experience with process simulation software such as Aspen PlusTM.
• Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Willingness to travel and undertake field assignments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
